I have the greatest admiration for the staff at the Bradley Unit of the Woking Community Hospital, by that I mean the Doctors, nurses, nursing assistants, physio, occupational therapists right down to the cleaning staff. They were very professional and friendly, nothing was too much trouble.

Review of Walk in Centre written by a patient
16th February 2018

I went to the centre to get my dressing and packing change as there was no appointments at my GP. Kathy was the nurse on that day. She is extremely kind! She explained the procedure and I completly felt more calm which helped me to not feel any pain during the procedure of changing my packing. Is good to mentioned that the receptionist was lovely, very pacient and kind as well. I've no words to describe the service. The waiting time is fair enough. They try to do the best that they can. I recommend!! 5 starssss

Very pleased that I was referrred to this wonderful place. Outstanding kindness, compassion and great medical care. Alway feel reassured after an appointment. The whole unit has a very relaxing atmosphere. The Doctors and all staff are superb, in my opinion. Cannot honestly see how they could improve the existing care-it is as good as I would expect.

We have used Woking Community Hospital on many occasions for emergency visits to the 'Walk In' centre and also various other departments for follow up appointments including physiotherapy, eye clinic, X-Ray dept. and podiatry. We have always found them to be extremely friendly, efficient, caring and professional and have often recommended the facilities at this hospital to others who have been equally pleased with the service. The waiting time for emergencies is always reasonable and other scheduled appointments are usually on time. This hospital is a great asset to the Woking area, the NHS and VirginCare.

After registering at the drop in reception desk, I did not have to wait more than 10 minutes before being seen by a very caring nurse. I required an x-ray of my injured shoulder, which showed a fracture. I did not have to wait long in the x-ray department Then the nurse made and fitted a sling & made an appointment for me to see an orthopaedic specialist at the fracture clinic at Chertsey after the Bank Holiday weekend.

I was treated with care and respect in a timely manner. I was expertly examined by a senior nurse who recommended and prescribed an ointment to treat an eye infection. She took great care, particularly as I'm currently undergoing chemo therapy, to ensure the treatment would in no way cause problems. She explained clearly how to use the ointment and precisely what to do in the event of problems or failure to stop the infection.
